Chemise Yoke.
i. Ch 3, 17 tc in ring, fasten with sc in top of 3 ch.
2. Ch 4, * 1 tc in next tc, ch 1, repeat from * 16 times, fasten in 3d of 4 ch.
3. Ch 3, 2 tc under 1 ch, * ch 1, 3 tc under next 1 ch, repeat from * 16 times, ch 1 and fasten in top of 3 ch.
4. * Ch 9, 1 sc in 1 ch between groups of 3 tc, repeat from * 1 7 times, break thread and fasten. In the last row of each wheel after the 1st, * ch 4, catch with sc in centre of 9 ch of preceding wheel, ch 4, fasten under 1 ch in wheel you are working, repeat from last * 3 times, then finish the wheel. Join the wheels together as worked, in this way, to shape the yoke.
For edge around top and sleeves :
1. 1 sc in last loop of 9 ch next to where last wheel of front is joined to first of shoulder, ch 9, 3 dtc in next loop (where joined to shoulder), keeping last st of each on needle, 3 dtc in next loop, keeping last st of each on needle, then draw thread through all at once, draw thread through st on hook, to fasten, ch 9, fasten with 1 sc in centre of next loop, and continue all around.the yoke, making the groups of dtc as described between the wheels.
2. 3 tc in each loop of 9 ch; repeat all around.
3. 2 tc separated by 3 ch in centre tc of 3 tc; repeat all around.
4. 3 tc in each 3 ch ; repeat all around.
5. Ch 7, fasten with 1 sc in centre tc of 3 tc; repeat all around.
6. 6 tc in 1st loop of 7 ch, * fasten with 1 sc in next loop, 6 tc in next loop ; repeat all around.
For lower part of yoke :
1. Same as 1st row of top.
2. Same as 2d row of top, with exception of the point of sleeve. Make 3 tc in 1st 3 loops after groups of dtc, and 6 tc in each of next 8 loops ; then 3 tc in next 3 loops, and continue.
3 and 4. Same as 3d and 4th rows of top.
5. Ch 3, fasten in centre of 3 tc; repeat.
6. 3 tc in each 3 ch; repeat.
The edge of sleeves is finished same as the neck, and narrow ribbon run in the spaces formed by ch of 7. Very easy, but pretty.
